Between the amazing chichetti and the best lasagna I’ve ever had - you’ll love the place. Great food, great service - the perfect spot for a great meal in Venice.
Amazing hidden local wine bar. Simple menu, visited by locals more than tourists. Really enjoyed hiding in the corner and reading my book, while sipping on an excellent selection of Italian wine. A must for the solo traveller!
We had an enjoyable meal here, definitely of higher quality compared to many restaurants in the area. They actually served true Venetian food which also seemed to be a rare find in Venice, lol.Our server was kind, he gave us many recommendations and happily answered our questions and didn’t rush us after we finished our meal.We had the traditional cod and lasagna which was made with eggplant! We love when we can sneak veggies in and they taste good. We also tried some tapas that were very tasty as well as affordable! The tiramisu was wonderful, not too sweet and well balanced. The restaurant itself is tucked back and beautifully decorated. Would definitely recommend for an authentic Venetian meal.
Nice, kind and funny owners, super delicious food and good jazz music. If you are having a date night and want to have some wine, starters and delicious food with the best Tiramisu in Italy, just come here. And the price was perfect. We had some starters, 2 baccala with polenta (definitely give a try if you like cod fish), Tiramisu and one bottle of wine and it was 78 Euros. What should i say, i would definetly come again for these starters
Excellent food, atmosphere, and overall lovely experience. After searching for places to eat we stumbled across this place and was a very quaint restaurant. Good food in Venice is hard to find, but I can't express how incredible this place was. Home style cooking with a very warm and inviting place, a lot of locals which is always a good sign! Highly recommend.
A beautiful little restaurant with very tasty bacaro (tapas)
We visited here twice once on a food tour and we came back to get away from the crowds for a drink. Cool small alley atmosphere!
I recognized instantly from outside that this is going to be a good choice; tiny but cosy, warm, the owner working, (I was confirmed later, but it looked like the worker was also the owner and that matters a lot).It was foolish of me not to look at the menu, (ordered from the venezian tapas ciccetti that was being shown at the bar), cause there was more food to choose from. Still the food was fresh and tasty and the service good, fast and sort of normal, (I dislike fancy and overwhelmed waiters, and of course, those who are not in the mood to work). Anyways, very nice people, very nice atmosphere and would recommend. Around 80 Euros for a lot of tapas for two and a boy, and desert which was desert wine and bisuits, (we ordered it two times, so it was 4 times in total). And there is Corto Maltese on the ceiling! Looking from above.
